The Mission of the Heavy Construction Safety Association of Saskatchewan Inc. is to promote the arts and science of safety to the “R” code employers and their employees in order to try to reduce incidents and accidents that result in injury and property damage.
The Certificate of Recognition program (COR®) is an occupational health and safety accreditation program that verifies a fully implemented safety & health program which meets national standards. The objectives of COR® are to provide industry employers with an effective safety and health management system to reduce incidents, accidents and injuries as well as their associated human and financial costs. COR® is now frequently used as a pre-qualifying and/or condition of contract by public and private project owners across Canada
Through ISNetworld, ISN collects, reviews and stores your health, safety and procurement information, allowing you to complete the qualification process for multiple Hiring Clients at once.
The MHCA is the recognized voice of the heavy construction industry in Manitoba, promoting sustainable investment in core infrastructure – highways, streets, bridges, sewer & water and water-control structures – to support economic growth benefiting our province and country in a manner consistent with the broad public interest
We are the Saskatchewan Heavy Construction Association (SHCA).
Our members are from all across Saskatchewan and we represent companies large and small. You’ll find them working on jobsites everywhere in our province and sometimes beyond.
We are a member-driven organization with a president and staff who work with our board of directors, drawn from our regular and associate companies, to provide the best representation, advocacy and services.
